7 - 7(-8 + x) = -14 + 4x How do you solve for x?

7-7 (-8+x)=-14+4×
7+56-7x=-14+4x
63-7x=-14+4x
add 7x to both sides
63=-14+11x
add 14 to both sides
77=11x
divide both sides by 11
7=x

therefore 7 is x
