ok, so, let me draw a graph....... ok, so this is actually pretty easy. i believe that you are talking about what is the name of the slope it forms when i put those two points together. when you connect (3,-6) and (-1,2), you get a "Down- hill" slope or we call it also a negative slope, because the line points down hill!
