Will cause a protein to become dysfunctional

Explanation:

The way a protein functions is based on it's form. Because our DNA is the blueprint to our bodies, our proteins function the best in our body by how they were first formed. Changing the protein in any way will cause it to be dysfunctional which can then cause genetic diseases to form.
