Volume of a cylinder = PI x radius^2 x Height

Replace the known information:

462,000 = 3.14 x 3.5^2 x height

Simplify:

462,000 = 3.14 x 12.25 x height

462,000 = 38.465 x height

Divide both sides by 38.465:

Height = 462,000 / 38.465

Height = 12,010.919 meters ( round answer as needed)
