1. 15 - 20%
so to convert 20% to decimals, you divide 20/100 to get 0.2.
then, just subtract 15 - 0.2 = 14.8

2. 15 - 3
just subtract 3 from 15.
15 - 3 = 12

3. 15 - 1/3
change 15 to fraction form by making the denominator 3.
so 15 is 15/1.
multiply both the numerator and denominator (top and bottom) by 3.
15/1 • 3 = 45/3.
now 45/3 - 1/3 = 44/3
