You could tell them how deadly the disease is and express why it is so important to get tested.
Some statements I would use is:
"1.1 Million are positive for HIV and 40% are not aware."
"Just take the test so you will know for sure. It takes less than 10 minutes".
"You can get tested for free at any health department or free clinic near you."
