Churchill was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1940 to 1945 and from 1951 to 1955.  He lead Britain to victory the second World War.   The Prime Minister duties include assuming responsibility for all the decisions and policies of the British government, appointing government officials, organizing and overseeing government departments and agencies, serving as head of the Cabinet, acting as a liaison with the monarch, participating in the House of commons.
