When Winston is on his way to the bathroom, Julia was walking towards him and in an awkward intent to give him a note she tripped and fell right in front of him, when he stops to help her stand-up, she takes advantage and passes the note to him.
This note had a simple phrase on it, it only said I love you which is not expected.
