First turn the mixed numbers into improper fractions:

[tex] 2\frac{4}{5} =\frac{14}{5}[/tex]

[tex] 5\frac{2}{3} = \frac{-17}{3}[/tex]

Now multiply:

[tex] \frac{14}{5} \times\frac{-17}{3} = \frac{-238}{15} [/tex]
