The song "Birmingham Sunday" tells the story about the Birmingham church bombing of the 16th Street Baptist Church in 1963. These terrible act was carried out by the Ku Klux Klan, and it led to the death of four girls. Twenty two other people were harmed as well. The song was written by Richard Fariña.
